About
Tamara Babic is the Director of the Classical School of Ballet LI and an adjunct ballet faculty member at Adelphi University. A native of Croatia, she trained at the School of Classical Ballet in Zagreb and danced with the Croatian National Theatre before devoting herself fully to teaching.
Her instruction is grounded in the Vaganova method. She is an ABT® Certified Teacher (Pre-Primary through Level 5), a certified NYC Ballet Workout instructor, and holds a Master's in Education from the University of Zagreb. As a choreographer she has created original works in ballet, pointe, character, and historical dance, staged in New York, Long Island, France, and Croatia.
Beyond the studio, her passions include photography, videography, Argentine tango, and languages. She is fluent in English, Croatian, and Spanish, with a working knowledge of French.
